At Pipeline Sports Performance, our NASM certified trainers take a strategic and sport-specific approach to developing athletes' strength, speed, agility, and quickness (SAQ). Before loading weights, we assess each player's unique needs, considering their sport(s) and season phase. We then set tailored goals and craft personalized strength programs, tracking progress meticulously. Our training philosophy also emphasizes explosive movement, rapid acceleration, direction change, and force generation through plyometric training. Furthermore, our Sport Translation System ensures that every exercise directly contributes to enhanced on-field performance, using dynamic movements and biomechanically relevant exercises.

Coach Nic Romero brings relentless energy, elite-level knowledge, and real-world grit to Pipeline’s strength and conditioning program.
Born and raised in Pensacola, FL, Nic made his early mark as an outfielder at West Florida High before stepping into a higher calling—serving in the U.S. Army, where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant. His background in leadership, discipline, and physical resilience forms the foundation of his coaching style today.
After earning his Bachelor's in Kinesiology from LSU, Nic committed himself to athlete development across all levels. Whether it's optimizing rotational power for golfers, enhancing speed and agility for soccer players, or building foundational strength for baseball and basketball athletes—Nic designs each program to meet the demands of the sport and the needs of the individual.
At Pipeline, Nic leads our Functional Movement Program, 1-on-1 Training Sessions, and High-Intensity Group Workouts, bringing unmatched versatility and precision to every session.
Certified in NASM PES, CES, CPT, AFAA Group Fitness, and TRX, Nic doesn’t just coach strength—he builds complete athletes, the Pipeline way.
